What does Midwifery means here in Germany:
I look after you already during pregnancy and answer all your questions about it. You go to your normal gynecologist appointments and I'll come in between.
Also when you got some issues, I'll try to help you.
With an antenatal class you will be prepared for the delivery and the first time after birth.
Postnatal, i will come to you to check, if I can help you, what is important now, what to look for and of course we gonna check the babys weight and health together.
Antenatal Class
This class is for everyone who speaks English and would like to know a little bit more about giving birth and the time after it.
We will speak about:
- can I be prepared for giving birth?
- what can I do in advance?
- does I have to register myself in the Hospital?
- how does contractions feel like?
- what does the baby during birth?/ what does your body?/ what can you do to handle it?
- the normal birth
- what could happen during birth? / complications
- caesarean (section)
- breast feeding
- the first hours and days after delivery
- what to buy for the baby /yourself
- the to do list for the father/ partner
and every questions you got.
I'm looking forward for every pregnant couple.
We start each day at 09:30 a.m. and it will end approximately around 15:30 p.m..
Kinesio Taping and Softlaser Therapy
With Kinesio Taping, we can reduce typical pregnancy problems. Like headache, lower back pain, ischias problems or even when the water in your body gets more and hurts. And even more.
This will be payed from your insurance.
With the Softlaser Therapy, we can fix wounds rapidly and even reduce pain.
Mostly used for lesions at the babys butt or pain during breast feeding.
This therapie isn't covered by your insurance.
Babys will cost 15€
Adults cot's 20€ per therapy.

Völkshagen, over Mandelshagen, Gelbensande, Rövershagen, Graal-Müritz, Bentwisch, Broderstorf, Pölchow, Papendorf, Warnemünde and of course the city of Rostock.

About myself
I came back to my hometown some years ago.
Before my kids came into my life, I worked also in the delivery room/ Kreißsaal.
At the moment I do home visits and antenatal classes.
Before I became a midwife, I traveled around the world and worked in different proffessions
